Edward spent over 50 years in a successful career in the Oil and Gas industry working in assignments all over the world. Edward also spent 2 years in the United States Army stationed at Fort Sill, OK and receiving an Honorable Discharge.
He loved golfing, hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. The one thing that will be remembered is how much he loved being with his family and especially the grandkids and the great-grandkids. He was always interested in their activities and what they were up to in life.
Ed is remembered for his total commitment to life. Time and time again he showed his commitment, especially to his wife and family, without hesitation to attend to them without question. He will be remembered also as having a ravenous sweet tooth.
One item that Edward will be remembered for was his fortitude and perseverance in getting things done once he made up his mind on the plan. This was one of his traits that served him well during his successful career.
Edward was preceded in death by his wife, Madalyn Zambon (of 42 years); mother and father, Thomas and Nella Zambon; and sister, Glenda Maraldo.
Edward is survived by his step-children, Richard E. Hawkins, wife, Lettie Hawkins, and Lynsey L. Zeman; grandchildren, Jennifer Lyn Wolney, Kristy Lyn Condrey and husband, Chris Condrey, Matthew Richard Hawkins and wife, Brianna Hawkins, and Melissa Lauren Chaplik, husband, Brian Chaplik; great-grandchildren, Harrison Shea Chaplik, Sevy Mason Chaplik, Madalyn Rose Hawkins, Hunter David Condrey, Gretchen Lyn Condrey, and Bracken Alan Condrey; nieces, Leslie Selmser and Lisa Merino and Pam Kershaw; along with their respective families.
