Ruben Jason Castillo, 35, passed away November 15, 2020.

He joins now in heaven his grandparents: Eugenia and Gilbert Rios; Sammy Castillo and Blanche Chavez.

It is impossible to capture the full presence of Ruben's character in only a few words. He was a devoted father, a loving son and brother, a great uncle and an awesome friend. He dedicated countless hours to his community, always stepping up to be the team dad and more often than not being the coach of the team itself. He spent his time on the field teaching each child the value of hard work, dedication and leadership. As a loving father he also taught his children these great lessons to shape them into strong, independent and loyal characters. He found great joy being outdoors, playing and coaching football and baseball. His generous spirit was always ready to lend a helping hand. Although he is gone from our sight he will live in our hearts for generations to come. Forever missed, forever loved.

Ruben leaves behind to cherish these memories, his parents: Robert Castillo and Gloria Rios; his children: Ruben Jordan Castillo, Romeo Jaydan Castillo, Miley Jaylynn Castillo , Millie Jae Castillo, Maely Jazebell Castillo, Macie Jaylene Castillo; brothers: Robert Castillo, Rene Castillo, Ronald Castillo, Romie Castillo; along with numerous nephews and nieces whom he loved.

Public visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel A with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening.

A Catholic Chapel Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel A.

Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
