Beverly Libra, 77, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota died Monday, June 27, 2022, at the Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 1, 2022, in the Christ the Victor Chapel at First Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, June 30, 2022, at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory, Sioux Falls.
Beverly Wieczorek, daughter of Leonard and Evelyn (Wiernert) Wieczorek was born February 26, 1945, in Mitchell, South Dakota. She grew up in Sioux Falls and graduated from Washington High School in 1963. While at Washington she was an outstanding baton twirler. After high school she attended Augustana University in Sioux Falls. Beverly was united in marriage to Dean Libra on June 4, 1966, and they enjoyed 50 years of marriage before Dean's passing in 2016. They lived in rural Canton from 1975 until moving to Sioux Falls in 2015. Beverly was employed with Johnson Brother Distributing working for different distributing agencies such as Famous Brands and Premier Wine and Spirits. She has been a long-time member of First Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls. In her free time, she enjoyed crafts, painting, and puzzles. She loved the many cats and dogs they had over the years. She also enjoyed being outdoors in her garden, skiing, or camping.
Left to cherish her memory are her brother, Wayne (Dorothy) Wieczorek of Sioux Falls; sister-in-law, Evie Wieczorek of Sioux Falls; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Evelyn Wieczorek; husband, Dean Libra; and brothers, LeRon and Kenneth Wieczorek.
