Doc Martin
HOPE, Ark.-Doc Martin, 68, of Spring Hill, Ark., died Friday, April 23, 2004, in a Texarkana hospital.
Mr. Martin was born Aug. 2, 1935. He was a farmer and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Hudman Martin, in 1998; and two daughters, Rita Martin and Beverly Martin.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Clifford A. and Kay Martin of Delight, Ark.; one daughter, Wanda Moore of Hope; three brothers, Odell Martin of Conway, Ark., and Johnny Martin and James Martin of Augusta, Ark.; two sisters, Opal Powell of Brinkley, Ark., and Patsy Simon of Mountain View, Ark.; five grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Bobo officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
