Death of John F. Wyatt
John F. Wyatt died at his home at 201 West Third street at 5 o'clock last evening of heart failure. Mr. Wyatt had been sick for several days. He had been travelling for the S. F. Baker Medicine Co., and came home sick. Mr. Wyatt was in the meat market business here for two years and has traveled for the S. F. Baker Co. for nine years. He came from Fredonia here five years ago. He was in the mercantile business at that place. Mr. Wyatt was born, March 28. 1851 at Liberty, Indiana. He was married to Malinda A. McFatridge of Indiana, July 4th, 1875. They later moved to Pratt, Kans. To their union were born six children, of whom four are living. Mrs. Wyatt died in Pratt, Kans., March 11, 1889. January 28. 1890 he was married again to Miss Carrie Ludlumin, of Pratt, Kans., who died November 18, 1902. In 1903 he was married to Mrs. Araminta Bailey of Independence, Kans. He is survived by his wife and four children by his first wife. Mrs. B. G. Estler, of Speermore, Okla., Mrs. E. J. Devilbiss of Cleo, Okla.. Mrs. L, Hoskins and Clarence Wyatt of Castby Okla. Mrs. Devilbissis expected tonight from Cleo, Okla., and Clarence Wyatt from Castby, Okla., also. Mr. Wyatt was a member of two orders, the Odd Fellows at Independence, and the Sons and daughters of Justice of this city. The funeral will be held at Independence Sunday at 1:30 o'clock from the Methodist church. The Odd fellows of that city will take charge of the services. Interment will be made at Independence.
