Luke Edward Hausmann, 23 years old, of Atchison, KS, died Thursday, January 10, 2008 from an automobile accident near Waco, TX.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 17th, 2008 at Memorial Hall, 819 Commercial St., Atchison, KS, with Rev. Tony Bufford officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Atchison, KS. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 PM on Wednesday, Jan. 16th, 2008 at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home. Luke was born on December 12, 1984 in Kansas City, MO, the son of David and Karen (Littlefield) Hausmann. He owned and operated Hausmann Painting, Atchison, KS. which funded his mission service in various countries such as Russia, Thailand, and Cambodia. He was a member of the Riverbend Bible Church, Atchison, KS.
Survivors include his parents; David & Karen Hausmann, Atchison, KS., four sisters; Ruth (Stephen) Bodenhausen, Atchison, KS., Abigail Hausmann, Anna Hausmann, and Julia Hausmann, all of Atchison, KS., three brother's; Ethan Hausmann, Samuel Hausmann, and Aaron Hausmann, all of Atchison, KS., Maternal grandparents; Lawrence and Betty Littlefield, Atchison, KS., and Paternal grandfather; Harry Hausmann, St. Louis, Mo., His grandmother, Shirley Hausmann preceded him in death.
