Salvatore "Sal" Giacobe was born March 25, 1915 to Domenico and Aurelia Maria (Garibaldi) Giacobe of Jersey City, New Jersey. Salvatore was one of 10 children. Salvatore served in the Untied States Army during WWII, while stationed in Texas he met Vera Anna Reichenau who he married on January 29, 1944 and had three children with. Mary Ann, Bernard and Gregory. He is survived by his three children and his son in law Anthony P. Mattalino and grandchildren ToniAnn Mattaliano Gonzalez and husband Emilio Gonzalez and Dino Mattaliano and his wife Karen Meyers. He has 3 great grandchildren Nina Gonzalez, Nicholas Mattaliano and Michael Gonzalez.
