Doris Maxine Kinser, 82, passed away on April 25, 2022, unexpectedly at her home in Midland TX. She requested no funeral or visitation. She asked to be cremated and laid to rest at Sherwood Cemetery outside of Mertzon TX.

She was born October 21, 1940, in Houston TX, the daughter of Anton and Thelma (McDonald) Wachsmann.

Doris married Jerry Kinser on May 4, 1957, in Sherwood, TX. In May they would have celebrated 66 years of marriage.

Doris was a member of VANN, where she taught arts and crafts to the visually impaired.

A passion of hers was volunteering at the yearly Texas Size Garage Sale in Midland TX.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Teresa Wolff.

Surviving in addition to her husband Jerry Kinser, are her daughter Susan Kinser of Midland, TX, son Herold Kinser of Midland, TX; five grandchildren Scott Nichols of LeMonte, MO, Stuart Nichols of Midland, TX, Jill and husband Mason Bishop of Lubbock, TX, Steven, and wife April Nichols of Midland, TX; four great grandchildren Koby Haas of Midland, TX, Samantha Nichols of LeMonte, MO, JT Nichols of Midland, TX and Huntley Nichols of Midland, TX; a brother AJ and his wife Marilyn Wachsmann of Midland, TX.
