HENDERSON-Timothy Clifton "Tim" Bridges, 61, a resident of Franklin Lane, died Tuesday, April 19, 2022. Born on July 5,1960 in Vance County, he was the son of Jimmie Clifton Bridges and Virginia Edwards Bridges of Henderson. He was the owner of Carolina Heating and Cooling, and was a licensed general contractor and electrician in North Carolina and Virginia. Tim was a member of Fuller Chapel Christian Church.
A memorial service will be held Monday, April 25, 2022 at 6:00 pm at Fuller Chapel Christian Church by the Rev. Tammy Ayscue.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one son, Reid Bridges of Henderson; two daughters, Cassie Upton (Chris) of Apex and Afton B. Eagle (Eugene) of Wake Forest; seven grandchildren, Addison Woodruff, Isaac Upton, Aiden Woodruff, Sam Upton, Elaina Eagle, Emily Upton, and James Upton; one sister, Shellie B. Currin (Dennis) of Nashville; one niece, Lorah Beth Currin; and three nephews, Foster Bridges, Perry Currin (Nicole) and Peyton Currin. He was preceded in death by one brother, Mark Bridges.
The family will receive friends following the service in the Fellowship Hall of Fuller Chapel Christian Church. At other times they will be at the home of his parents at 5878 Raleigh Road, Kittrell, NC 27544.
Serving as pall bearers will be his golfing buddies at Kerr Lake Country Club.
