Miss Mary Mandel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Mandel, 917 Eighth avenue, died at her home at 1:24 this morning, after an illness of three weeks, the fatal ailment being brain fever. The deceased was aged 22 years and 1 month. She was a well known young lady, and her untimely demise will be mourned by a large circle of acquaintances.

Funeral services for Miss Mary Mandel were held at 9 o'clock this morning at St. Mary's church, requiem mass being celebrated by Rev. Father Baak. There were a number of beautiful flowers. The remains were laid at rest in Calvary.
