Farris Carleston "Buddy" Davis, Jr., 90, husband of Frances C. Davis, died Sunday, March 27, 2022 at his residence.

Buddy was born on May 6, 1931, in Hemingway, SC, son of the late Farris Carleston Davis, Sr. and Della Mae Prosser Davis. He was a graduate of Hemingway High School and attended Clemson University, where he received a football scholarship. Buddy was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, having served during the Korean War. He was a member of Indiantown Presbyterian Church and attended Brown's Chapel United Methodist Church. Buddy was a member of Indiantown Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star and Salkehatchie Summer Camp. He retired from FermPro and his hobby was wood working and he was a grass cutting specialist.

Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his first wife, Patty Greenwood Davis; daughter, Debbie Davis Altman; brother, Roger Davis; sister, Golene Keller; great-grandson, Dylan Hanna.
