Nicholas Luke Heiken, age 20 days, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2007 at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette.
Survivors include his parents, Roy Jason Heiken and the former Kelly Lynn Nieweg of Lafayette; one brother, Erik Heiken of Lafayette; maternal grandparents, Leah & Matt Moore, and Stephen Nieweg all of Lafayette; paternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Donald Penning and Mr. & Mrs. John L. Heiken, all of New Orleans; maternal great grandparents, Litta Migues of New Iberia and Ethel Nieweg of St. Charles, MO; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins; paternal great grandparents, Harold Heiken of Oakland, CA and Gloria Penning of New Orleans.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Lucas Paul-Anthony Heiken; maternal great grandparents, Recey Migues, Carl Nieweg, and Thelma and Kenneth Moore; and paternal great grandparents, Ruth Heiken, June Heiken, and Betty Fought.
