Glen Barton Pittman was born on December 7, 1928 in Temple, Texas to Leslie J. and Rosa Mae Pittman. Glen married Bettye Herman in Brownwood on April 6, 1950. Glen was a lifelong resident of Brownwood before moving to Hurst in 2004. He was a postal service employee for more than 25 years and was a member of Austin Avenue Church of Christ in Brownwood and The Hills Church in North Richland Hills.

Glen was predeceased by his parents, his three brothers, Victor, Jack and LJ and his four sisters Helen, Maggie, Melba and Nell. He was also predeceased by Bettye, his wife of 57 years, in 2007.
Glen is survived by his children, Maritia Keeling (Alfred) of Colleyville, Michele Stevens Willett (James) of Grapevine and Mitchell Pittman of Colleyville; four grandchildren, Shane Keeling (Lorrie) of Fort Worth, Courtney Atwood (Randy) of Lubbock, Caroline Calhoon (Chris) of Colleyville and Austin Stevens (Christina) of Bedford; four great-grandchildren, Chase Atwood of Fort Worth, Isabella Atwood of Lubbock, Jackson and Gwen Calhoon of Colleyville and many loving nephews and nieces.
