Melvin Joe Keller, 77, passed away January 12, 2022 at Clara Barton Hospital, Hoisington.

He was born March 23, 1944 in Larned; the son of William Evertt and Sara Glenn Glick Keller. He was born and raised in Larned, then moved to California. While in California he worked as a Plumber and a Plumbing instructor at USC. He later returned to Larned in 2000, where he continued plumbing and worked at the Department of Corrections and City of Larned until retirement.

He was of the Christian faith. Was a class of 1962 Larned High School graduate, was a Republican, was a member of AMAC and the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion, both of Great Bend. He enjoyed listening to Sons of Liberty Bradlee Dean, playing computer games and spending time with his family, grandkids and great grandkids.

He married Connie V. Baca; she preceded him in death.

Survivors include; daughter, Lurene Keller, Great Bend, a son, Will (Kay) Keller, Timken; granddaughter, Heather Keller and great granddaughter Anna, Great Bend; granddaughter, Ashley (Donald) Ronck and great granddaughters, Gracyn, Zoey and Everly, Great Bend; granddaughter, Katie Jo Keller and great grandson Jaymeson, Timken.

He was preceded in death by; his parents, his wife, and a brother, Jon Raymond[sic] Keller.

Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday January 17, 2022 at Beckwith Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Troy Miller presiding. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary. Military honors provided by United States Air Force and Larned VFW Post #2271.
