Triplett, Heath, TX, John W. & Donna Avery, Balch Springs, TX and Chiarina Suratt, Mesquite, TX as well as 18 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren, this number continues to grow, all residing in TX.

Chiarina was preceded in death by her parents, Salvatore and Vincenza Rigione Dacorsi of Naples, Italy; 1st husband, James Andrew Triplett, DOB 9-17-1923 – DOD 9-21-1952; 2nd husband, John Clarence Avery, DOB 6-21-1926 – DOD 5-06-1982; youngest son, Jacky Thomas Avery, DOB 10-12-1955 – DOD 11-23-2017; daughter-in-law, Jo Elaine Triplett, DOB 3-14-1965 – DOD 1-25-2020, son-in-law of 41 years, Darrell Dean Suratt, DOB 5-20-1954 – DOD 5-07-2021.

Chiarina Rita Dacorsi was born October 5, 1926 in Naples, Italy, youngest of five sisters. As a young girl, Chiarina survived the hardships of WWII when Germany invaded Italy. She took on the role as provider for her mother and sisters, as her father passed away early in her life. The struggles of war laid the foundation of Chiarina's characteristics, her inner strength, and her discipline. These skills would prepare her for what was to come.

She often sacrificed and put others before herself, to make sure everyone was taken care of first. In 1943, British & U.S. soldiers landed in Italy to run the Germans out. She met, fell in love, and married her husband, James Triplett, in Naples, Italy.
On February 27, 1947, Chiarina came to the U.S. joining James and residing in The Dalles, Oregon area. Shortly thereafter, she was widowed with two toddlers, Linda and Marvin, as James passed in a car accident. His parents persuaded Chiarina to stay in America where the land of opportunity existed for her and her children (vs. Italy).

She met and married, John C. Avery, on March 13, 1953 and birthed three additional children, John Wayne, Jacky, and little Chiarina eventually ended up residing most of her life in the suburb of Pleasant Grove, Dallas, TX until the death of Jacky in 2017. As a result, she moved in with Chiarina and Darrell and resided until her death. Darrell, Little Chiarina and family took care of her until the end. A special "Thank You" to her great-grandchildren who adored their beloved Mema and shared the responsibility of caring for her: Michael, Dylan, Christopher and Kelsey.

Chiarina became a United States Citizen in mid-year 1959. She was a public servant, doing what she loved to do, working as a Cook for Buckner Baptist Benevolences at Buckner Orphanage/Children's Home from 1965 until retirement on October 16, 1988. For 23 years, she served children daily, hot meals for breakfast and lunch with love and compassion. She served Dinner nightly to the elderly at the Trew Retirement Center with a smiling, friendly face.

In retirement, Chiarina loved to wake up the elderly with her loud Italian voice at the Senior Citizen daily luncheons provided by Dallas County. She loved traveling back home to Naples to see her family, as often as possible, sometimes in duration of six months. The last travel to Naples was in 2000 with her daughter Linda and granddaughter Michaella. She loved going to Garage Sales or better known as "Treasure Hunting" on Saturdays. Also, you would often find her in Las Vegas, NV, Shreveport, LA or Durant, OK on the slot machines playing the Double Diamond or the Money Bag aka "The Old Man" as she would call it. She loved gambling as she was very consistent in her winnings at the casino. Chiarina always preached to save for a rainy day and looked for ways to make a dollar, by having her own Garage sales.

Chiarina was a Catholic who loved Lord Jesus and praised God each day. Chiarina's greatest accomplishments and loves of her life were her children! She loved Sunday dinners watching the Dallas Cowboys, and family gatherings mostly. Although she is gone, her spirit and memories will live on thru all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Chiarina will be fiercely missed by her children, grandchildren and other family & friends as she is now residing and serving our Lord in Heaven.
