ALTMAN - Harry C. Altman, age 84, died Sunday, August 12, 2001 in Marion, NC. He was a native of Jacksonville, FL and was the son of the late James & Daisy Padgett Altman and the widower of Mabel Hartley Altman. He was a retired carpenter, an avid hunter, and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. He is survived by a son, Thomas Altman (wife, Ann) of Marion, NC; daughter, Judy Phillips (husband, Charles) of Swannanoa, NC; grandchildren, Maria Altman, Jana, Holly, & Scott Phillips; 2 sisters, Evelyn Watson & Eloise Georghagen and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11AM Wednesday in the chapel of Fraser Funeral Home, 8168 Normandy Blvd. with interment to follow in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM Tuesday evening (TONIGHT) at the funeral home.
