Patrick M. Alphin, passed unexpectedly, from natural causes, October 8, 2021.

He was born December 18, 1945, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Parents Pat L. and Vivian M. Alphin.

Patrick graduated from Tuloso Midway High School in 1964; following graduation he attended Del Mar College.

In 1967, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served until 1972. He married his high school sweetheart, Peggy, July 28, 1967.

Happily married for 54 years. Retired from AEP in 2000 after 28 years of service. He loved to fix things and tinker with everything. There wasn't a thing in the world he couldn't fix. He loved Peggy to the moon and back and made sure she knew it every day. He loved his family, and he would go out of his way to make sure everyone was happy.

In addition to his parents Pat L. and Vivian Alphin, he is predeceased by son, Patrick David Alphin and great grand-daughter, Mia Alejandro. Surviving in addition to his wife, Peggy G. Alphin, are his sister, Katy O'Neal (Wayne) of Orange Grove, Texas; daughter, Teresa Montez (Hector) of San Antonio; Son, Brian Alphin (Lisa) of Corpus Christi, daughter-in-law, Cissy Alphin; nine grandchildren, Kristin Alphin, Courtney Araiza (Ignacio), Kasey Alejandro (Jamie), Kale Alphin, William Montez, Brandon Montez, Nathan Montez, Baylie Alphin, and Cassidy Alphin. Six great-grandchildren, Evan, Erin, and Eian Araiza, Evelyn and Mia Alejandro, and Leland Montez. Numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 12, 2021, from 4-8 PM at Sawyer George Funeral Home, 12497 Leopard St., Corpus Christi, Texas.

Services will be held also at Sawyer George Funeral Home, Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at 12:30 PM with burial following at the Coastal Bend Veterans Cemetary, 9974 IH 37 Access Rd. Corpus Christi, Texas, with Abel Almendarez presiding.

Pallbearers will be Kristin and Kale Alphin, Hector, William, Brandon, and Nathan Montez.
