MISSLER Harold Philip Dec. 12, 1925 - Dec. 11, 2007 Harold Philip Missler, 81, of Norwalk, Ohio, entered the kingdom of Heaven peacefully on Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at the family home. Harold was born December 12, 1925, in Seneca County, Bellevue, Ohio, son of Clemence and Mary (Fritz) Missler. He was a 1943 graduate of St. Paul Catholic High School. He was a proud and active member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, where he was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society, the parish's Cemetery Board, Vocation Committee, and Diocesan D.D.F. Board. He was also a member of the Norwalk area food bank, Bronson Norwalk Conservation League, and the Buckeye Liquor Dealer Association. Tavern business of forty years was his life career at Harold's Bar, Norwalk and Bob's Bar, Fremont. He enjoyed gardening, landscaping, and mentoring tavern owners. Harold leaves to cherish his memory, Viola M. (Weisenberger), his beloved wife of 59 years; his loving children, Sister Susan Mary Missler, SND, of Fremont, Ohio; Steve and Margie Missler, of North Ridgeville, Ohio; Fr. John Missler of Port Clinton, Ohio; Danny and Denise Missler of Norwalk, Ohio; Julie and David Filipucci of Fort Wayne, Indiana; Jennifer and Robert Korte of Keller, Texas; Janet and Keith Madaras of Pemberville, Ohio; by his precious grandchildren, Bradley Missler, Thomas Filipucci, Robert Filipucci, Jared Missler, Brianna Missler, Christopher Madaras, Ashley Madaras, Zachary Madaras, Madeline Korte, and Victoria Korte; his brother, Arnold and Ethel Missler of Norwalk, Ohio; his sister-in-law, Rita Missler of Fremont, Ohio; his sister, Marie and Ronald Stieber of Norwalk, Ohio. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Clemence and Mary Missler, and his brother, Robert Missler. Visitation will be 2:00- 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Friday December 14, 2007, in Walker Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. A scripture service will be conducted at Walker Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2007 at 10:30 a.m., in St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 E. Main St., Norwalk, Ohio. Mass will be offered by his son, Fr. John Missler. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery, Norwalk.
