Elaine Alexander Moore was loved by all who knew her.
She was born in Dallas and was raised by the most beloved parents, Gus and Doris Alexander. They passed away in 2003 and 2004. She had two brothers, Donald Alexander and Nick Alexander, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her brothers Paul Alexander and Philip Alexander.
She was married to her giving husband, John for 30 years and has one daughter, Jennifer Dodson with husband, Tom and one grand-daughter, Daphne Dodson. She is also survived by her daughter, Pamela Miller, husband Sam, and grandchildren Lane, Vaughn, Ellen, and Krystal.
Elaine passed away on Tuesday, September 21st, after struggling with health issues for many years. She graduated from Samuell High School and attended Southwestern Assemblies of God University. Early, she enjoyed working with her Dad at the John E. Mitchell company as well as banks and other companies.
She invested more than 25 years at DISD in Payroll, as a School Secretary, and as an Executive Assistant for the Assistant Superintendent. She suffered a stroke in 2000 leading to her retirement. Afterwards, she enjoyed life at home with her husband, John Moore.
