Bill Bullock, 81, of Whitesboro, passed away early Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2021, after a brief illness. Bill was born in Sherman, Texas to Audie Lee and Margie Bullock on January 19, 1940.

He was a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving on the USS Midway during the Vietnam War and was in the CB's and had worked over 37 years for Bell Helicopter in Fort Worth before retiring in 2002.

He was recently honored for his 50 years of service as a Mason at the Gordonville Masonic Lodge. He was a 50-year member of the Scottish Rite 32nd degree Mason. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Gordonville, Texas.

He enjoyed making and flying large model airplanes and had a replica of a town that occupied most of a room in his home. He also had a large collection of military memorabilia in his home.

He is survived by his wife Kathy; a sister, Sue of Fort Worth, Texas; two nieces, one nephew, six great nieces, two great nephews, five great great nieces, three great great nephews, many cousins. Bill also had many friends in the Whitesboro and Gordonville areas.

He was preceded in death by his son Raymond Allen Bullock, parents Audie Lee and Margie Bullock.

A graveside memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 31, at the Gordonville Cemetery, with Brother Ollie Pierson of First Baptist Church in Gordonville officiating.
