Edith Kaye McClintock June 22, 1941 - August 20, 2021
Edith Kaye McClintock went home to her Savior on August 20, 2021 at the age of 80. Kaye was born on June 22, 1941 to Fred and Mildred Harkins in West Frankfort, Illinois. She married Lloyd Wayne McClintock who preceded her in death, wed in 1960. She has two surviving children, Mark (Kathy) McClintock of Bloomington, IL and David (Betty) McClintock of Murfreesboro, TN. She has three surviving sisters, her identical twin Faye Grzanich, Barbara Graves, Gayla Harkins, and a brother, Jerry Harkins all of West Frankfort, one sister, Lynda Harkins preceded her in death. Kaye was blessed with seven grandchildren Matt (Taunie) McClintock, Kyle (Ashley) McClintock, Nathan (Miranda) McClintock, Luke (Courtney) McClintock, Kari (Brody) Boudine, Chelsie (Jaden) Hecker, Tyler McClintock, and eight great grandchildren, Ayra, Marin, Chase, Alyssa, Jonathan, Madison, Briar, and Emery. Kaye had a love for genealogy, and did extensive research on her family that reached back through multiple generations. She enjoyed researching everything about her family tree as well as the history of other families. She donated time to the Veterans Museum and was the moderator for the "if you grew up in West Frankfort" Facebook page. She was a member of the Trinity Methodist Church in West Frankfort. A private family service will be held on Monday, August 23, 2021 in Union Funeral Home – West Frankfort, Illinois.
