Sharon K. Veliquette, 82, of Fostoria, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2021, at Good Shepherd Home, Fostoria.

She was born Feb. 16, 1939, in Fostoria, to Arthur and Dorothy (Markins) Bethel. She married David Veliquette Dec. 2, 1961. He passed away in March of 1994.

She is survived by two daughters, Patti (Jack) Maloy of Fostoria and Robbin (Robert) Smith of North Baltimore; a son, David Veliquette of Carey; 14 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Randall Kirkland; four great-grandchildren, MaKylee, Carter, Logan, and Leigham; two brothers, Robert and Billy Joe Bethel; and two sisters, Floella and Donna.

Sharon was a homemaker and babysat many children. She attended chapel at Good Shepherd, attended Risingsun High School, and collected dolls and bells.

Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021, at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, with Chaplain Bob Simonsick officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be at Knollcrest Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials can be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
