Margie Clough Kuykendall, 63, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 15, 2021, at home in Winters.

Margie was born July 18, 1958, in Winters, to parents Jack and Gaylene (Andrae) Clough.

Margie married her sweet husband, Steve Kuykendall, January 06, 2007, in Winters. They enjoyed going to flea markets and antique stores.

Margie loved to nurture people. She was a nurse for many years at the nursing homes in Winters and Ballinger, which is how she met Steve, also a nurse.

Margie loved nurturing plants also. She inherited her green thumb from her grandma Agnes Andrae and treasured some roses and irises that had been planted by her grandma over 40 years ago.

Margie loved baking with her granddaughter, Karyssa. They also shared many special moments in their fairy garden.

Margie was a member of St. John's Lutheran church in Winters where she served on the church council and was a Sunday School teacher.

Margie was a very proud mom to her son Wylie and his wife Dee (Dominique) Clough. She was also proud to claim Steve's son, Matt Kuykendall, as her own, as well as his daughter "Bug".

Margie treasured the wonderful memories they made together over the years.

Margie is survived by her doting husband, Steve Kuykendall; son Wylie and wife Dee; stepson Matt; siblings and their spouses Jackey Clough and Sandra, Dickie Clough, Jamye Clough and Tommy, Scotty Clough and Emily; granddaughter Karyssa; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many other close family members and friends. All of whom she loved and touched deeply.

She was preceded in death by her mother Gaylene Frances Clough, father Wiley Jackson Clough and his wife Nettie, sister in laws Florence Clough and Debra Clough.

The family wishes to thank Kindred Hospice for their dedication to caring for our sweet Margie during her last days.

In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make donations in Margie's honor to St. John's Lutheran Church 1100 W. Parsonage, Winters, Texas 79567 or Meals On Wheels (area office) 717 N.10th, Abilene, Texas 79601.
