Of 520 Hopewell Rd., Cambridge, on Friday, Nov. 20, 1992, at K-W Hospital, in his 78th year. Dear brother of Alberta Hunter, Betty Haddaway, Muriel (Mrs. Art Clark) and dear brother-in-law of Dorothy Scherrer, all of Cambridge. Lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents and three brothers, Allan, Robert and Kenneth. Mr. Scherrer was born in Cambridge (Preston) and was a lifelong resident. He was employed at Brewers Retail until retiring 13 years ago. He was a member of St. John's Anglican Church and the Royal Canadian Legion, Preston branch 128. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 586 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral and committal services will be conducted at the funeral home Monday, Nov 23 at 1.30 p.m. Interment following in Preston Cemetery
