Mrs. Karen M. Hippert, 77, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.
Born May 2, 1938 in Schaefferstown, PA, Karen was the daughter of the late Russell and Lucia Hartman Ebling. She retired from the manufacturing sector as a payroll clerk. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren and she also enjoyed exercising and working in her yard.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Jay Hippert; her daughters, Monica Hippert and fiance Darryl Houshower and Jolene Umbenhauer and husband Dale; her grandchildren, Shaun Finley and fiancé Rebecca Dilorenzo, Meghan Rizzo and husband T.J., LeeAnn Moffitt, Ryan Finley, and T.J. Moffitt; her sister, Yvonne Fetter and husband Alton; and her brother, Barry Ebling and wife Gail.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Clauser Funeral Home, 120 N. Carpenter Street, Schaefferstown, PA 17088. Inurnment will follow at Elias Memorial Cemetery, 9 North Sheridan Road, Newmanstown, PA 17073.
