Elizabeth Loftin, age 60, transitioned to heaven on Tuesday, July 6, 2021. She a long-time resident of Catawba Heights and was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church.
Elizabeth was born in Charlotte and was a graduate of Olympic High. She studied Transportation Logistics at Gaston College.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her daughter Amy Lee Loftin and her parents, William and Freda Loftin.
She is survived by her twin sister Rebecca Johnson, her brother Charles Loftin, Mary Ann (sister) and Stanley Ray. She will be missed greatly by her nieces and nephews Ashley & Christopher McCarter, Wesley Johnson, David and Simone Ray, Caleb, Joshua, and Matthew, Melissa and Ray Wooten, Conner, Pierce and Isaac.
Elizabeth had a beautiful smile and a sense of humor even during some of the difficult times in her life. She had a deep faith in Christ that helped her through those times. Her caregiver, Shay Stillwell was like a daughter to Elizabeth and she loved being "Memaw" to Shay's children, Karter, Glen Jr. and Harland.
The family will have a celebration of her life at 11:00am, Friday, July 9, 2021 The Bumgardner Chapel.
Visitation will be at 10:00am - 11:00am prior to the service at McLean Funeral Directors.
Interment will follow at Hillcrest Gardens, Mt. Holly.
