Bill R. Goins, 84 died on Friday, June 4, 2021, in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Services will be Wednesday, June 9, 2021at 10:00 am at First Baptist Church with Dr. Derrell Monday officiating. Interment will be held at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.
Bill was born January 15, 1937 in Vernon, TX. He was the son of the late Cecil "Rip" Goins and the late Lillian Mason Goins. He married Linda Lindsey on June 17, 1981 in Lubbock, TX., she preceded him in death November 13, 2013. He had lived all of his life in Vernon. He worked for Waggoner Ranch for 35 years heavy equipment operator and truck driver and he was a farmer. He enjoyed dining out and visiting with people he was a very social person. He was a member of First Baptist Church and the J. Carl Smith Sunday School Class.
Bill is survived by his son, Billy Goins and wife Sharon of Vernon, TX, daughters, Angie Boyd and husband Randy of Vernon, TX, Jeanne Richardson and husband Jerry of Jacksboro, TX, Leona Lear of Southgate, MI and Debbie Cape of Anderson, SC. 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and one more on the way.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 6:000 to 7:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
Memorials can be made to Holiday Spirit Meal or First Baptist Church.
