On October 11, 2019, Alyce Jeanne Kennedy passed into the hands of our Lord in Heaven at her home in Dallas, Texas. She was 85 years old. Alyce was born in New York City, NY on June 13, 1934. Alyce was preceded in death by her parents, F. John Kennedy and Martha Malinda Zeller; her husband, F. Earl Wheeler and her brother, Frank Kennedy. She is survived by her daughter, Nicole Carlin. Alyce was discovered in a ballet class at the age of 16 by a Ford Model Agency Scout. This was the beginning of a successful modeling career, both in the United States and in Europe. She appeared in magazines such as Vogue and walked the runways of famous designers in New York, Paris and Rome.After retiring from modeling, Alyce became a partner with her husband, Earl, in the operation of career schools, including The Fashion and Art Institute of Dallas and The Court Reporting Institute of Dallas. A person of beauty and grace, Alyce commanded any room she entered. She was smart, strong minded and stubborn but, her unending devotion and dedication to her loving daughter, Nicole Carlin, will be what we will forever remember.
