CAMERON, Mo. -- Ruthette (Bohon) Amos, 84, Cameron, died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2001, in Cameron.
Mrs. Amos had been employed by Armco Steel.
Born in Winston, Mo., on June 24, 1916, she was a member of the Bible Baptist Church, Cameron; and Chapter No. 428, Order of the Eastern Star, Blue Springs, Mo., of which she was a member of the 62 Club and a past matron. On Feb. 29, 1936, she married James Amos. He died in 2000.
Mrs. Amos also was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Moon; and her parents, Edgar and Lena Bohon.
Surviving: two sons, James, Gravois Mills, Mo., and Russell, Shawnee, Kan.; a daughter, Donna Stowell, Kansas City; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Service: 10 a.m. Satufrday, Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Burial: White Chapel Cemetery, North Kansas City, Mo. Memorials maty be made to her church.
