Pedro Pasqual Guzman, 76, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015 in Rockport. He was born Oct. 23, 1938 in Rockport. He was a lifetime resident of Rockport and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Ester Bello Guzman; brothers Juan “Johnny” Guzman and Ruben Guzman; and one sister, Amparo G. Serrato.
He is survived by two sons, Ruben Guzman and Pete Guzman, Jr. both of Rockport; two daughters, Yessenia Barrera and Yvonne Guzman both of Rockport; two brothers, Emilio Guzman, Jr. of Corpus Christi, and Eluterio Guzman of Lake Jackson; two sisters, Mary Garcia of Rockport, and Anita Perez of Palacios; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was to be held Wednesday, July 8, 2015 from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. at Charlie Marshall Funeral Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, July 9, 2015, at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Rockport Cemetery.
