Lone Grove - Mrs. Sandra Lynne (Whatley) Dyer, 63 of Lone Grove are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Monday, February 1, 2021 at the New Hope Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Dustin Gardner, David Gardner and Donnie Collins officiating. Interment will follow to Bomar Point Cemetery in Wilson. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson. Services will be Facebook Live.

Sandra was born September 2, 1957 to the late Mr. Hubert Leo Whatley and Mrs. Georgie Lee )Totty) Whatley in Leon, OK. She departed from this life on January 26, 2021 in Ardmore.

Sandra was raised mainly in Lone Grove attending school there. Her family spent some time in Napa Valley, CA and Leon, OK when she was a child. She married the love of her life, Kenneth Leslie Dyer on May 7, 1983 in Ardmore, OK. They made their home in Lone Grove. Sandra worked outside of the home as a nurse aid for many years and spent a wonderful amount of time as a administrator at Western Hills Senior Care, where she met and changed many lives during her career. She retired after being a provider for 8 years. Sandra loved the Lord, and attended the New Hope Freewill Baptist Church.

Sandra loved to read, gardening, tending to her chickens, spending time with her daughter, Emily, and watching her grandchildren play sports. She enjoyed outside time with Bentley and her biggest joy was taking photos and watching her boys wrestle. Kenneth and Sandra would spend many years watching and traveling around with her wrestling family.

Preceding her in death are her parents; infant brother, Ronald David Whatley and nephew, Gerald Caudle.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Kenneth the love of her life; daughter, Emily Johnson and husband Shannon of Lone Grove; sons, Kenny Dyer of Lone Grove and Billy Dyer of Anadarko; daughters, Patsy Barrett of Anadarko, Destiny Dyer of Ft Smith, AR; and Melanie Brummett and husband Matt of Dayton, TX; brother, Bob Whatley of Oklahoma City; sisters, Debrah Butler and husband Butch of Lone Grove, and Darinda Caudle and husband Gus of Lone Grove; special brother, Hank Lyons and wife Cappie; grandchildren, Kaylee, Joshua, Lillian, Layla, and Bentley Johnson of Lone Grove, Zoe Cole, Hannah Cole, Justin Comer, Angelica and husband Kenneth; Kendall and Princess Dyer, Jeremy Tags, Derek McCullar, Christal Barrett, Darrell, Zaymiah and Lula. 8 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews, David Denham and wife Alicia, Shelly Lee and husband Jeff, Aaron Whatley and wife Jennifer, Cody, Brooke, Ashley and Henry Whatley, Madeline Denham, Weston Denham and Maci, Colton Denham, Caleb Magee, Chey Cornelius, Amanda and Jordan James, Dustin and Heather Moiser, Eric and Melissa Moiser, Billy and Chelsea Moiser and Christy Bulla and husband Dustin; a host of great nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be David Denham, Weston Denham, Billy Mosier, Dustin Mosier, Eric Mosier, and Aaron Whatley. Honorary bearers will be grandsons, nephews, and her entire wrestling family.

Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 4-6 P.M. at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.
