Ruth Britton (Clay) of North Richland Hills, TX passed from this world peacefully on January 16, 2021.

She was born December 28, 1926 near Steiner, Texas to Charlie and Minnie Cook.
She attended school in Kopperl, Texas but by her senior year the family had moved to Morgan where she graduated from Morgan High School. She met and fell in love with Howard Britton. Soon after his return from World War II they wed. During the course of their marriage, they had two children, Linda and Larry. Throughout Howard and Ruth's 58 years together they enjoyed a variety of volunteer work and travel.

She will always be lovingly remembered as a Dutiful Daughter, a Supportive Sister, a Loving Wife, an Encouraging Mother, a Proud Grandmother, a Thankful Great Grandmother a Dear Friend and a Faithful Christian.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Minnie Cook, her husband, Howard Britton, her siblings: Allene Sanders, Auburn Cook, Herbert Cook, Ida Lee Etchison, Marie Ivy, William Cook and her daughter in law Glenda Britton.

Ruth is survived by her daughter Linda Winn (Marty) her son Larry Britton (Joy),
grandchildren Ashley Shaw (Brandon), Casey Flowers (Jordan), Corey Winn (Janie), Jamey Winn (Danae) and great grandchildren, Caleb, Dax, Jameson, Judah, MaKynna, Pecos, Savannah, Slade, Spencer and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be at 12 noon on Wednesday January 27, 2021 at Mount Olivet Chapel, 2301 North Sylvania Avenue Fort Worth, TX 76111.
