Keitha Gay Tate, 82, of Fort Worth went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 18, 2021. She was born on September 13, 1938 in Silverton, Texas to her parents, Hilmon and Lucile Latham. Keitha grew up on a farm in Woodson, Texas and was one of nine children. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree and became a Registered Nurse where she spent over 20 years caring for children at Denton State School. Keitha was a devoted member of West Freeway Church of Christ. She was dedicated to her family and throughout the years became their rock of solidarity and love. Keitha was a sensational baker and candy maker. Her specialty and everyone's favorite treat, was her Divinity. She had many talents and she enjoyed sewing and creating beautiful treasures for family and friends. Keitha will be missed by all who knew her.

Keitha was preceded in death by her parents, Hilmon and Lucile Latham; sister, Ramonia Latham; brothers, T.J Latham, Donald Latham, Cruz Latham, and Powell Latham.

Keitha is survived by her husband of 62 years, Earl Ray Tate; daughter, Treva Downs and husband, Michael; daughter, Trona Milano and husband, Frank; son, Sheldon Tate and wife, Rena; grandchildren, Cristyl Chance, Cayce Dickinson, Jeremy Dickinson and wife, Amanda, Adam Chisholm and wife, Christina, Christopher Downs, Brynli Clayton and husband, Michael, Tate Williamson, Kennedy Norman and her husband, William, Lauren Hawkins and husband, Joshua, Britney Skinner and husband, Corbin, Amanda Tate, and Michael Tate; family, Kim Tate; great-grandchildren, Merrick Garza, Maygan Chance, Hayley Dickinson, Joel Dickinson, David Dickinson, Ayden Kohan, Ashton Kohan, Blake Chisholm, Teagan Chisholm, Eli Chisholm, Ayve Clayton, and Arden Clayton; siblings, Guan Blackerby, Kenneth Latham, Zane Latham and wife, Diane, and Quein Latham and wife, Susie; sisters-in-law, Pam, Latham, Valene Latham, Martha Loggains and husband, Chuck; several generations of nieces and nephews; and a host of extended loving family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Keitha’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association.

The Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM Monday, January 25th at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel, Fort Worth with the Graveside Service to follow in Laurel Land Memorial Park, 7100 Crowley Rd., Fort Worth.
