Carolyn Marie Hanna was born July 20, 1961 in Temple, TX, the first of six kids to Clarence, Sr. & Elizabeth Thorns.
She attended Temple High School where she ran track with her middle sister Connie. She attended 2 years at Temple Jr. College & in April 1980 she met Gregory Hanna. Ten months later on February 14, 1981 the lovebirds married. Through this marriage they had 3 beautiful daughters & they traveled the US with Gregory throughout his military career until 1996 when they settled in Ft. Worth, TX where her immediate family still resides.
She was a payroll supervisor at University of North Texas Health Science Center in Denton, TX. Carolyn loved spending her free time playing with her grandkids, doing puzzles, playing games, reading her bible & hosting family fun nights. She was an avid Alabama Roll Tide & Dallas Cowboys fan with a big, loving & caring heart, loved by all she came in contact with.
Carolyn now gets to rest in peace with her dad, Clarence Thorns, Sr., her maternal & paternal grandparents in heaven.
Carolyn is survived by her husband, Gregory Hanna, children Crystal Hanna, Jessica Drue, Brittnee Allen, mother, Elizabeth Thorns, mother & father-in-love Lagretta & Isaiah Singletary, brothers Clarence, Jr., Carl, Chris, sisters Connie, Constance, grandkids James, Aaliyah, Jocelyn, Erren, Jr., Enoch & a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins.
