November 4, 1925 - January 10, 2021
Betty Marie Bone, nee Harris, passed away peacefully January 10, 2021 in Garland, Texas. She was born November 4, 1925 in Dallas, Texas. She was one of the first babies to be delivered at Baylor Hospital. She was a devoted wife and mother. Her family was her chosen career.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dr. Fred W. Bone. She is survived by her three children, Barbara Stapp and husband Ed, Margaret Bone, Bill Bone and wife Amy, four grandchildren, Jeffery and wife Stephanie, Ryan and wife Alicia, Sarah and Nathan and three great-grandchildren, Olivia, Case and Eleanor.
She was a lady of great faith, and found peace in her daily devotional and Bible study. Our mother was a talented artist and calligrapher. She enjoyed gardening and was quite the bridge player. An avid reader, she continued this into her final days. Mother loved adventure and travel. Her final years were spent at Abba Assisted Living playing dominoes with new and valued friends. The dedicated care she received added quality to her final years. She lived her life to the fullest and will be missed by all who love her.
