Jimmy Darrell Dalton – age 81 of Knoxville passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Westmoreland Health and Rehab. Jim was raised in North Knoxville. He was a member of Lincoln Park Baptist Church and attended Fulton High School. He retired from Overnight Trucking as Terminal Manager. Jim was an avid classic car collector. He and Helen spent many wonderful years traveling to car shows where they won many awards. He was also an avid UT Sports and NASCAR fan.

Jim was preceded in death by his loving wife of fifty-two years Helen and his parents James and Ailson Dalton.

He is survived by his devoted cousin and caregiver for many years Shirlene Yarnell, several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Highland Memorial Cemetery, Dr. Alan Smith officiating. The family would like to thank the staff at Westmoreland for the years of wonderful care they gave Jim.
