Funeral services for Nina Carol Boswell Allred, age 80 of Richardson, Texas, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 18, 2020 at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home Chapel in Lindale, Texas with Bro. Bud Allred officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Sylvan Cemetery in Lindale.
Nina passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at her home in Richardson. She was born November 9, 1940 in Macon, Mississippi to the late Vernon and Sinnie (Hunter) Boswell. Nina has lived in Richardson for over 40 years where she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Richardson. She was also a member of the Arapaho Road Baptist Church in Garland. Nina was a Boy Scout and Girl Scout Leader, enjoyed reading, watching gameshows, playing cards and watching sports particularly Mississippi Football and the Dallas Cowboys. She was a loving homemaker and enjoyed most of all spending time with her family. Nina was preceded in death by sisters, Dot Clearman, Libby Lanier, and Josey Shaul; and brother, James Hunter Boswell.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, S.L. Allred of Richardson, Texas; children, Carol Allred Hansen of Frisco, Texas and Steve Allred and his wife Megan of Dallas, Texas; sister, Linda Grantham of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; son-in-law, Chuck Hansen of Celina, Texas; grandchildren, Tyler Hansen, Brooke Hansen, and Sylas Allred; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends.
