Mrs. Rollinson was born in Sumter, South Carolina, a daughter of the late Larry Leroy Ardis, Sr. and Bertie Vermelle Ardis Ardis. After the death of her father in 1950, her mother re-married and the family moved to Columbia.
She was a 1963 graduate of University High School in Columbia. She was first married to Marion Alexander "Buddy" Watson and they were the parents of two children, Laurie Lane Watson Trotter, of Columbia, and Russell Alexander Watson of Hartsville.
She is survived by her husband, John Lester Rollinson, her children, Laurie and Russell, 2 grandchildren and her sister, Barbara Ardis Coker, of Sumter.
