Lillie D. Pinkston. 88, of the East Moline Care Center, East Moline, Ill., formerly of DeKalb, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 1991, at the mini Hospital, Silvis. She was born April 14, 1902, in Willisburg, Ky., the daughter of Samuel D. and Athenia (Masters) Hale. She married George Andrew Pinkston in Washington County, Ky., July 16, 1919. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Annabea Wisted of DeKalb and Betty Jean (William) Tuman of Colons; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Lucie Graham of Plymouth, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, George in 1982; one daughter, Doris Pape in 1987; and 10 brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Anderson Funeral Home, DeKalb, with the Rev. Ronald Miles of the First Baptist Church, DeKalb, officiating. Burial will be at the Fairview Park Cemetery, DeKalb. Visitation will be held Friday from 1 p.m. until the time of services at the Anderson Funeral Home.
