Also surviving are children Cody (Taylor) Branson and Abbi (Scott) Sutherlin; grandsons Hezekiah, Kaulder and Liam; his parents; siblings Chuck (Ronja) and Steven Branson, Debbie (Jay) Hicks, and Becky (Jon) Cowart; mother-in-law Jane Ivers; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents and father-in-law Jack Ivers.
1979 graduate of Turkey Run High School.
He worked for Eli Lilly for thirty-two years.
Member of Roachdale Baptist Church, and President of his FFA Class.
He thoroughly loved fishing, and having fish fries with his friends and family, playing sports of all kinds, being outdoors, working on his family's farm, helping others, and being with his family.

Burial in Bethany Cemetery, Marshall, Indiana.
