Sharon Kay Alviar, age 64, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2020 after a year long battle with lung cancer. She was born on January 1, 1956 to Lyle and Joan (Yarrangton) Robinson in Muskegon.
Sharon graduated from Mona Shores High School. Sharon was a nurse and started out as a LPN at Mercy Hospital. She progressed to RN, BSN and was the clinical house supervisor with 41 years of dedicated service. Throughout her years a nurse, Sharon has touched the lives of many people, coworkers as well as patients. Sharon was caring and fun loving, she enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She enjoyed going to concerts, events, and spending time at the lake or by the pool.
Sharon is survived by her husband of 37 years, Jesus "Jesse" Alviar; her loving daughters, Stacey Zielinski, Marcy Alviar; five grandchildren, Damien, Christian, Jenna, Savannah, Dylan; father, Lyle Robinson; brothers, Jim Robinson, Paul (Cathie) Robinson, Bob (Vickie) Robinson; sisters, Mary (Rod) Rowe, Kathy (Mike) Leighton, Jean (Mark) Swain; step-mother, Edy Foster. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joan, and brother, Steven Robinson.
A Memorial Service for Sharon will take place on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at The Lee Chapel of The Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S.
