Fred John Lippert, Jr., age 83 of Alvin, Texas passed away Thursday, September 10, 2020 at his residence. Fred was born on March 4, 1937 in Bismarck, North Dakota and was a resident of Alvin for over 60 years. He worked as a operator in the chemical industry and served in the United States Air Force. Fred was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Lippert, parents, Selma and Fred Lippert, brothers, Arnold Lippert, Earl Lippert and wife Chris, Marvin Lippert.

Fred is survived by his wife, Virginia Lippert, daughter, Cynthia Selby and husband Roger, sons, Bruce Lippert, John Lippert, Douglas Lippert and wife Silke, brother, Jim Lippert and wife Rosemary, 8 grandchildren, Tatum and husband Robert, Teagan and wife Brittney, Logan, Samantha, Dakota, Mary, Katarina, Josh, 10 great grandchildren, numerous other relatives and friends.

The family would like to send a special thank you to Traditions Hospice for all the loving care they offered through this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, the family ask memorial be made to the Lippert memorial fund.

Graveside services will be held Monday, September 14, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. in the Confederate Cemetery in Alvin, Texas.
