Don Carlton "Hoot" Robertson was born August 23, 1941 in Dallas, Texas. Don was born to Rollen Carlton and Virginia Lillian Bradley Robertson. He was raised and attended school in Malakoff, Texas. He married Nettie Ruth Hood Robertson June 14, 1963 in Athens, Texas and again on June 14, 2014 at their Dixie Lake home.
Mr. Robertson worked in mining for Texas Utilities and after retirement he worked for Monroe Brothers Paint and Body. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, and a strong Christian man. He enjoyed the outdoors hunting, fishing, and time with family and friends on Dixie Lake. He is preceded in death by his parents.
