With saddest regret we announce the departure of Jack Durwood Aaron, age 76, after a long heroic battle with cancer on August 9, 2020. He resided in Georgetown, Texas.

Jack was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He always lived life to the fullest and he was a man of many facets and skills.

His passion was restoring classic cars, riding his Harley motorcycle, race cars, playing his guitar, camping, hunting and fishing.

Jack and Velma were high school sweethearts, married in 1962, always together. When you see one, you always see the other. He loved his family friends and his dog Ziggy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Marie Aaron; sister, Helen Potter; brothers, Alton Aaron and Stanley Aaron.

Jack is survived by his wife, Velma Aaron of Georgetown Texas; daughter, Felisha Conner and her spouse, Scot Conner of Florida; son Darell Aaron and his spouse, Lori Aaron of Liberty Hill, Texas; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren; sister, Nancy Gardner and her spouse, Wayne Gardner of Carlsbad, New Mexico.

Jack you will always be in our hearts and minds. Save a place in heaven for us you will be sorely missed.

A Memorial Service for Jack will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2020 in the Chapel of Ramsey Funeral Home.
