Mrs. Sarah Anna Lau, the wife of J. J. Lau, of the Holcomb district near this city, died at the family home early Sunday morning from pneumonia. Mrs. Lau was well-known in this county and was an active worker in the Red Cross auxiliary in Holcomb. She was serving as chairman of the auxiliary at the time of her death.

Mrs. Nau was born in Knoxville, Tenn., on September 11, 1891, to Mr. and Mrs. A. Warren, now of Oregon City.

When she was 11 years of age the family moved to Bellingham, Wash., coming seven years later to this county, where they have since made their home. She was married to Mr. Lau in Toledo, Ore., on July 6, 1912.

Mrs. Lau is survived by her husband, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. Warren of Oregon City; six brothers, Elmer, Harry, Ralph, Richard, and Lowell Warren, of this city; and Clyde Warren, with the 36th Balloon Company in France.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at the Dicken Cemetery near Redland.

Rev. R. P. Williams, the pastor of the Christian Church in Molalla, officiated.
