Funeral services for Mr. Henry "Blue" Savoie, 65, will be held Sunday at the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Bellevue Memorial Cemetery. The time of services had not been scheduled at press time.

Mr. Savoie, a resident of Opelousas, died at 12:05 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, 1993, at Opelousas General Hospital. He was a carpenter.

Surivors include: his wife, Betty Ray Savoie of Opelousas; four sons, Henry Eddie Savoie of Spain, Joseph Micky Savoie of Sunset, Jimmy Ray of Baton Rouge and Dwight Ray of Opelousas; four daughters, Adele McGuffee of Shreveport, Peggy Leger of Church Point, Linday Ray, Annette Gibson and Marion Darby, all of Opelousas; two brothers, Tom Savoie of Baton Rouge and Ashton Savoie of Lewisburg; 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and from 8 a.m Sunday until time of services. A rosary will be recited, but the time and date had not been arranged at press time.

Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
