Dennis Schenk, age 64, of Bad Axe, passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at McLaren Thumb Region Hospital in Bad Axe.

Dennis was born January 20, 1954 in Bad Axe, son of the late Joseph and Charlotte Gertrude (Toner) Schenk.

Dennis was a hardworking man all of his life, but also enjoyed relaxing and spending time with family. He loved to bake, with his favorite being apple pies. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Dennis is survived by three daughters – Denise Schenk of Bad Axe, Tracy Schenk (AJ Hass) of Bad Axe and Kimberly (Grant) Hooper of Deckerville.

Four brothers – Joe (Ardis) Schenk of Bad Axe, Bob (Pat) Schenk of Bad Axe, Ron (Pat) Schenk of Bad Axe and Dick (Kathy) Schenk of Bad Axe.

Twin sister – Joanne (Mike) Grasso of Bad Axe.

Many nieces and nephews, and special friend Lisa Nutt of Bad Axe.

The Schenk family will receive guests for visitation on Friday, September 28, 2018 from 2 – 8 pm at the Kaufman Funeral Home in Bad Axe.
