Son to the late Ralph & Margaret (McQuestion) Karnes. He served in the Army Engineer Co during WW-II. He was a member of the Carpenters Union #161 and VFW #7308. He was a volunteer with the Shalom Center Soup Kitchen that serves the poor and homeless. He is survived by his siblings, Margaret & John. He is preceded in death by his wife, Milla (Gazo) Karens and sister Alice.
