Ramona (Saiz) Aragon passed away on Monday, March 1, 1999. She was born on April 20, 1914, in Socorro County, New Mexico, the daughter of Francisca (Garcia) and Juan G Saiz.

She was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Sacred Heart League for many years.

Ramona loved her children and their spouses dearly, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were very special to her. She had a reputation with family and friends that if you needed help or a place to stay, you could always go to Ramona's.

She was very active with the senior citizens.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel E Aragon; and three grandchildren, Henry Garcia, Arlene Griego, and Mario Baca.

She is survived by her 11 children: Bertha Aragon of the family home in Belen; Leondro Aragon (wife, Nellie) of Albuquerque; Lala Griego (husband, Nazario) of Albuquerque; Josie Garcia (husband, Lester) of Albuquerque; Lucy Martinez (husband, Robert) of Albuquerque; Sally Tanuz (husband, Arthur) of Albuquerque; Isabel Bustamante of Belen; Eddie Aragon (wife, Barbara) of Los Chavez; Bernadette Torres (husband, Ernest) of Belen; Frances Jaramillo (husband, Mike) of Belen; and Leo Aragon (wife, Patricia) of Belen; her two sisters, Elisaria Baca of Springerville, AZ, and Delia Moya (husband, Ramon) of Morenci, AZ; 29 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers were: Sam Griego, Ben Griego, Richard Tanuz, Henry Torres, Raymond Jaramillo, Manuel Aragon, Eduardo Aragon, Marty Aragon, Pat Garcia, and Marty Jaramillo.

Interment was in the Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church Parish Cemetery.
