Garvey McLaughlin
DuBois - Garvey J. McLaughlin, of 220 N. Third St., DuBois, died Thursday at DuBois Regional Medical Center-East. He was 74 and a retired truck driver for the City of DuBois.
Born Feb. 12, 1916 in Curwensville, he was a son of Edward McLaughlin and Susan Garvey. He was married to Marian (Pringle) McLaughlin; she survives.
He was a World War II veteran and a member of St. Catherine's Roman Catholic Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Garry McLaughlin of DuBois; a daughter, Mrs. (Susan) Gluczyk of DuBois; seven grandchildren; a brother, Thomas 'Bud' McLaughlin of Curwensville; a sister, John (Rita) Lynott of Los Gatos, Cal.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
